The Hortense rectangular 33 light bronze pendant is a striking fixture designed by artist Annet van Egmond in collaboration with Maretti Lighting. Seven Hortense clusters are suspended from a 1.8 metre by 4.6 centimetre black ceiling plate, creating thirty three light points in total. The bronze toned frame with gold coloured flowers and finely laser cut veins delivers a warm, layered lighting effect. All 1W G4 LED lamps are replaceable and phase cut dimmable. A perfect composition above a long dining table, bar or kitchen island in both residential and hospitality interiors.

The Hortense rectangular 33 light bronze pendant is created for interiors where you want length, height and a clear focal point above the table. This is one of the most generous models in the Hortense collection by Annet van Egmond and Maretti Lighting. A black linear ceiling plate measuring 1.8 metres by 4.6 centimetres supports three clusters of the Hortense 3 light pendant, two of the 5 light version and two of the 7 light version, adding up to thirty three light points in a single composition.
The design language of Hortense is rooted in the hydrangeas from Annet’s garden. The veins and natural structures of the leaves are translated into metal flowers with an organic, rhythmic build up. The veins are CNC laser cut from metal, while the remaining parts are hand formed, welded and shaped. The bronze toned frame combined with the gold coloured flowers makes the floral silhouettes stand out clearly, resulting in a fixture that feels both sculptural and calm.
The pendants have a maximum drop of 1.8 metres. During installation each drop can be adjusted individually, allowing you to choose between a clean, linear arrangement above the table or a more playful setup with varied heights. This flexibility makes the pendant suitable for long dining tables, kitchen islands, bars and meeting tables, and helps it fit the proportions and sight lines of the space.
All thirty three light points use 1W G4 LED lamps. They offer low energy consumption, a long service life and can be replaced. The pendant is supplied complete with driver and is phase cut dimmable, so you can easily set the light level for everyday use, dining or softer ambient lighting. The warm glow follows the veins and contours of the flowers and creates a subtle play of shadows on the table surface, walls and ceiling.
