In the Jordaan, the historic Koning Willemshuis has been transformed into a luxurious residential building with five high-quality apartments. Under the leadership of monument architect Hans Vlaardingerbroek, the former office building has been restored while retaining authentic details, while adding modern materials and sleek finishes.
The interior, designed by Wim van de Oude Wetering (Casus Casa), fits in perfectly with the contemporary character. Maretti Lighting supplied a selection of stylish fixtures, including the Luxury 6 Rings pendant lamp over two floors, the Jug pendant lamp above the kitchen island and the Go With The Flow Pendant above the dining table. Chic black surface-mounted spotlights, used as ceiling and wall lamps. And the Tube Cube wall lamps in the garden provide a luxurious and modern look.
With this unique transformation, the Koning Willemshuis offers a rare combination of historic grandeur, modern comfort and a vibrant location in the middle of the Jordaan.
