At one of Groningen's most exclusive locations, the Grote Markt, MWPO Vastgoed B.V. purchased the former V&D building and transformed it into the contemporary Groothandelshuis. This unique building offers a home to various companies that strive for an A+ location. Jumbo City + La Place are located on the ground floor. MWPO has its head office on the penthouse floor with a spacious roof terrace and a breathtaking panoramic view of Groningen. The company, known for its 'don't talk, just do it' mentality, was inspired by gentleman clubs and law firms for the interior concept. Walnut wood, wall panels and robust furniture determine the style. The design is based on a geometric simplicity of a square, symbolizing the solidity and simplicity of the company. A touch of femininity is reflected in the warm color palette. Leskens Interieur created a symmetrical layout that promotes tranquility and productivity. Maretti Lighting was chosen for the refined Icon, Rivington and Gable lamps that add a sense of luxury. The Infinito hanging lamp by Marcel Wolterinck in the management office completed the appearance of grandeur. The result is an office with understated luxury, where Maretti lighting creates the perfect atmosphere for this unique location on the Grote Markt.
